The end of the rainiest day on record, ever* came with us in the village of Zandvoorde. There was a few seperate sites to visit as this was a very busy sector of the battles. There was a particular reason to visit as Steve had been a young recruit to the modern day Household Cavalry who are commemorated here after a heroically disastrous defence of the hill took place.
