We stayed in the village of Meteren on the outskirts of the town of Bailleul, near the city of Lille. It was a superb place to stay, and more than met our needs. The owner welcomed us with coffee and a tour of the house. I say house, but it was more a converted barn, and at the time we stayed there it had seven bedrooms and could sleep fourteen people. There was a further area that hadn’t been converted yet so could accomodate more in the future. I’d recommend it without hesitation.
