The Tree of Remembrance.
Wolfgang Buttress and Fiona Heron designed this stunning memorial to the civilians of Manchester who died during the second world war. It was officially opened on V.E. day in 2005.
The copper, steel and bronze has the names of the dead and missing of the city etched on it.
