Jac Maris bas relief - Heuman

As mentioned above, this is my favourite of his works that we saw. It commemorates a battle the Dutch fought against the Spanish in 1574 and has the images of two commanders who died in the battle. It was commisioned by a Dutch infantry regiment who were stationed here in 1939 on border defence duties.
