We didn’t really do the town we were staying in justice. We saw the local supermarket and caused ructions with the parking arrangements “But I helped you?!?!” became a bit of a rallying call for the duration. We also visited a rather nice takeaway as well as every pub in Beek, and not forgetting the pancake house in Berg with the delightful Laura and her friend. As for the actual sites of the town centre, we didn’t get to see them properly. The first four pictures below were taken on the journey back from Arnhem the day before (some from a moving car), the Waal crossing pictures were from the early morning of our last full day in Holland. |
