A young boy is taken in by a rich uncle and left to his own devices. He falls for his beautiful cousin, but returns after a few years to find her engaged to another.
The years apart have turned him into a high class thief. The story follows his adventures robbing the rich and famous of turn of the century Paris, and trying to steal the heart of his true love.
It’s a wonderful film, with plenty of cliff hangers, and despite its slow pace seems to fly by.
The cast give excellent performances and the look and feel of this wonderful film are spot on.
