The Cross of Sacrifice

The Cross of Sacrifice in Valkenswaard, with a close up of the floral tributes below. The crosses are in all British war cemeteries and are of a larger or smaller scale dependent on the size of the cemetery.
They were designed by Sir Reginald Blomfield, who is perhaps most famous (these crosses aside) for designing the Menin Gate memorial in Ypres.
