Hotton, like La Roche lies astride the Ourthe River. The road there winds its way along the valley floor following the route of the river through a scenic valley. A look at a map of Hotton shows immediately why it was a vital objective. As well as the bridge over the river roads radiate out to Marche, Erezée, La Roche and Barvaux. We found it equally vital as a beer was desperately needed. |
