Genevieve Bujold is my favourite film star. The first film I remember seeing her in was Anne Of The Thousand Days. I couldn’t remember much of the story as I was very young, but the beautiful woman in the lead role stuck in my mind.

Her output has been erratic, but even in the poorer films her performances are always of the highest calibre. Some films aren’t my normal choice, and are challenging to watch, but always rewarding in one way or another.
