Hans von Keudell was a German fighter ace, killed on 15th February 1917 by pilots of the 46th Squadron the RFC. He was 24 years old and had joined the Army initially, fighting in Poland and France before transferring to the air force in June 1915. He achieved twelve victories and was awarded the Cross of the Royal House Order of Hohenzollern, a medal given to officers for bravery.
