A series of suspicious incidents at a Boston hospital provoke Dr. Susan Wheeler (Genevieve Bujold) to investigate further. Seemingly fit and healthy patients are falling into comas on a much too regular basis. Her investigations are hampered by the attitude of the hospital’s senior staff, and even her boyfriend, but is there a sinister reason for the tragedies, or is it simply the over active imaginations of a hard pressed doctor? This is a fantastic thriller, with elements of science fiction and whodunnit thrown in for good measure. Early roles for Ed Harris and Tom Selleck are in there for the eagle eyed.
