Two New Zealand brothers lie buried here.
Alleyne and Gerard Webber were fighting in the first world war with the New Zealand Mounted Rifles and the Royal Fusiliers respectively.
Alleyne died at Bauchops Hill in Gallipoli on August the 6th 1916 and Gerard died in Manchester on February the 2nd 1917 after receiving wounds at Beaucourt-sur-Ancre in France.
