Another long day drew to a close with a frustrating search for three elusive monuments. The Joe Mann, 15th Scottish Division and the Veghel 101st Airborne Memorials were proving more than a match for our navigating skills. We had no problem finding the 30 foot Michael Jackson statue though. We eventually found all three, but the last one was in darkness. We had to illuminate it with the cars headlights. There was also an old favourite unearthed as we treated ourselves to a well deserved Heineken. |
