The Siegessäule

This 67 metre tall column was built in the 1800s to commemorate Germany's successes against Denmark, Austria and France. There's a staircase up the middle, and a small museum at its foot. It was alarmingly hot, and probably not the best time for two big lads to make the ascent, but we managed. The television tower looms in the background.
