Bayeux British Cemetery

A member of the largest volunteer army ever assembled lies in Bayeux. The Indian soldiers vital role is often overlooked in it's support of the British army and the various conflicts they've been involved in. The battle at Gallipoli for instance is largely remembered as an ANZAC operation, but the Indian contingent was by far the largest.
