A devout young girl becomes enthralled with a priest brought to her church to assist with a singing competition. After a tragedy she breaks down and confesses her love to him.
The resulting fallout is extreme, and cannot be discussed in a review, as it would ruin the film. It’s a very slow moving story which only makes the results all the more shocking.
It’s definitely not one to watch to wile away a Sunday afternoon.
